A kimono’s poetic journey between France and Japan.

In a trunk in the Burgundian family house I keep an untouched treasure: a red silk kimono.

Born from a Japanese mother and a French father Françoise Desbois studied political sciences in Grenoble, France, and documentary movie making in MET film school, Berlin.
Among several lives, she has been a singer of old popular french songs in a Parisian band, food artist in Amsterdam and currently documentarian in Berlin.
