Vikings of Jomsborg is a documentary about Modern Vikings, shot in 2017. It covers the annual Slavs and Vikings Festival in Wolin, Poland, where participants travel from all over the world. The festival centers around three days of battles where over 600 warriors fight competitively with steel weapons. Mainly shot by a one man crew, the film features interviews that capture a few distinct and diverse personalities from the brotherhood: a Muslim Viking, a Polish historian/author, and a MMA fighter. The film features past footage of fallen Jarl and founder of Jomsborg, Phil Burthem, including his Viking Funeral. This film offers a candid look into the fascinating and underexplored subculture of the Modern Viking.
