Karachay-Cherkessia is one of the smallest, but one the most picturesque regions of Russia. In September 2017 it celebrated its 25-th anniversary. This young republic once had been a part of Stavropolskiy krai, another region of Russia. It is now developing its economy, infrastructure independently and has succeeded a lot. Karachay-Cherkessia today is very popular for skiing and other winter activities, and also for its wonderful Nature tourists adore it. The famous hospitality makes a visit to the republic unforgettable. Many Russian celebreties pay their homage to Karachay-Cherkessia on its anniversary.
