The true experts for a place are the people who live there – the ones who grew up and decided to stay.
Backpacking to foreign countries, the two Cologne based filmmakers Nadine & Annika noticed, that their travel experience reaches another level, when they stick to locals instead of other travellers. The stories and insight they got from them inspired the duo to realize WHAT IS HOME – an international webseries. The goal is to meet and portrait at least one voice from each inhabited continentwithin the next two years. With the film project and accompanying blog www.what-is-home.com they want to create valuable travel experiences and share them with the world.
In the first three episodes, Katia from Panama, Jürgen from Germany and Ahliya from Australia reveal what “home” means to them.
