Director: Aimo Hyvärinen

His background is from photo art to documentary film production and directing – also multimedia productions. He has also been active as a journalist and film & art critic writer. His studies include photo and cinema studies with an MA from Digital Culture at Jyväskylä University (2007). He continues to produce and direct diverse documentary films and other media content with production companies like HiQ visual. During the years 2009-12 he evaluated EU Media2007 creative documentaries and animation funding applications. Historically his track record includes about ten long documentaries, three large multimedia productions, several corporation films, many video installations and more than twenty photo art exhibitions. Aimo lives in Tampere with film editor wife Irma and two sons.
